How to Get a Google Maps API Key

Step 1 – Create Your Project

1. Go to Goolge Maps PLatform
2. Press “Get Started” button

3. Check all 3 products

4. Choose “Select a project” and enter a project name in the below box. Click next.

Step 2 – Create a billing account

1. Click “Create Billing Account”. You will receive $200 of credits per month, so you shouldn’t have to worry about ever being charged.
2. Create a name for your billing project and press continue. Fill out your payment info.

Step 3 – Get your API Key

1. In the window, you will be offered to enable your APIs. Press Next.

2. You will see a new window with your API key in the box. Copy the key to be able to use it and press Done.
